Time Event
possible financial help for surgery expenses
alright. so, in the latest issue of Trans-Health there was mention of a book called
foundation grants to individuals

there is a small section in the book dedicated to foundations that grant money to people for "general welfare" reasons, including medical expenses.

i just checked it out from the library, and have a few leads for people i'm going to write to see about the possibilities of this.

it looks like there are a lot more foundations granting money to people in rural areas (so you rural folks might do well to take a look through the book). a lot of them are regional in one way or another, but there are some that don't specify a region or city/county/state where one must reside.

that's just a head's up. i'm trying hard to get surgery as soon as i can, and i know other poor folks like myself could use leads too. happy hunting.
